Description

The Records and Information Management Specialist, GS-0308-12, will oversee the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Records Management Program, including program and administrative records across all media and formats. The role leads the transformation of records-management processes for electronic records, coordinates systems development and implementation, interprets NARA directives and reporting requirements, conducts special projects and systems analysis, and develops metadata, taxonomy, classification, and information-architecture requirements for automated information systems. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, pass a background and suitability investigation, and demonstrate at least one year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to GS-11, including electronic records-management analysis, automated assessment of electronic repositories, and development of metadata and information-architecture requirements.
