Description

The Records and Information Management Specialist supports the Montana Department of Revenue’s Records and Information Management program by coordinating planning, evaluating processes, providing training, assisting with record classification, and promoting records and information management initiatives. The role contributes to data governance, monitors program activities, and supports continuous improvement. It reports to the Information Governance Unit Manager and does not supervise other staff. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field and two years of job-related experience, including tax administration, technical work, data processing, troubleshooting, application support, external-client support, and documentation of software requirements. The role may be eligible for telework from an approved worksite, requires Montana residency, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
