Keoghs LLP is hiring a Claimant solicitor for its Property Risks & Coverage Team’s Recoveries specialism in Birmingham. The role handles household and commercial property recovery files involving fires, floods, and product liability, with claim values typically exceeding £10,000 and ranging up to £100,000 or more. Responsibilities include reviewing and triaging claims, investigating evidence, instructing counsel and experts, conducting legal research, drafting claims documents, attending conferences and trials, negotiating settlements, preparing applications, and conducting advocacy. The position requires a qualified solicitor or equivalent with relevant technical capability, 0–3 years of claimant or defendant property litigation experience, and experience running a case load. It offers hybrid working, 35 hours per week, and a range of benefits.
