Description
Sojourner House is hiring two full-time Recovery Support Specialists in Pittsburgh to provide supportive services to women and their children in a recovery program. The role involves engaging and supporting clients, modeling healthy coping and wellness activities, transporting clients to appointments, assisting with childcare and household management, maintaining confidentiality, resolving conflicts, and providing trauma-informed, gender-responsive care. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of applicable paid experience, computer and administrative skills, and a valid Pennsylvania driver's license; Act 33 and 34 clearances and an FBI clearance are required for work with children, while Certified Addiction Counselor or Certified Recovery Specialist certification is preferred.
