Description
The Community Recreation Specialist supports the Navy MWR Specialty Retail Program at NAVSTA Great Lakes by providing customer service, managing recreation facilities and equipment, processing sales and registrations, maintaining inventories, administering workshops and events, coordinating special events, and supporting community outreach and partnerships. The role requires customer service, event-planning, recreation-program knowledge, computer and record-keeping skills, and the ability to work independently; it has no positive education requirement and requires E-Verify, background checks, and a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
