Description
Westmoreland Manor is hiring a full-time Recreation Aide (Floor) to conduct therapeutic and diversional activities for residents in its recreation department, including arts and crafts, games, music and movement, and outdoor activities. The role requires documenting resident participation and progress, filing progress sheets, and working one-on-one or in groups with residents who have behaviors and/or dementia to provide redirection and engaging activities. The position pays $18.10 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in Occupational Therapy and/or Recreation Therapy/activities preferred, along with strong communication and the ability to maintain activity charts and lift as needed.
