Description

The Community Recreation Specialist provides customer service and support for military recreation programs at the Outdoor Recreation Program, Naval Base Guam. Responsibilities include checking patron eligibility, providing activity information, opening and closing facilities, ordering and restocking supplies, preparing snack items, processing sales, completing daily reports, checking and maintaining equipment, administering workshops and events, and supporting event setup and break down. The role requires customer service, event planning, recordkeeping, computer skills, physical activity, and the ability to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays, and outside; it also requires a valid state driver's license and C.A.R.E., EFR or CPR First Aid, and Food Handler certifications within 90 days of placement.
