The Facilities Operations Assistant supports the Facilities Operations Team Leader at Fort Shafter Physical Fitness Center in Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Duties include assigning and reviewing projects, opening and closing facilities, issuing and collecting fees for recreational equipment, safeguarding funds, preparing equipment for customers, monitoring facility use, cleaning, operating equipment, and performing self-help maintenance. The role requires rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and requires a valid state driver's license, background checks, a medical physical examination, and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
