Description
The federal Lifeguard position is assigned to the Hurlburt Field Aquatics Center and may be scheduled for 0–40 hours per week. Duties include preparing staff schedules, issuing pool passes, handling cash, maintaining attendance records, distributing lifeguard workloads, monitoring swimming-area safety, rescuing swimmers, administering first aid, operating pool equipment, inspecting facilities, and training other lifeguards. Applicants must hold current lifesaving and water-rescue certification, basic first aid and CPR training, relevant pool and cash-handling experience, pass background and physical requirements, and be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
