Description
The Therapeutic Recreation Program Assistant supports the planning, facilitation, setup, execution, and evaluation of camps, classes, clinics, and events for the Therapeutic Recreation Division. The role assists the Team Leader and Program Coordinator, oversees seasonal staff and volunteers, maintains equipment and supply inventories, ensures participant safety and inclusive activities, administers first aid, maintains records, and provides program reports. The position reports to the Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor, requires youth experience, a valid Georgia driver’s license, a criminal background check, and First Aid/CPR certification or certification within six months of hire.
