Description
The Parks and Recreation Director plans, coordinates, implements, and supervises recreational, athletic, nature, and other community programs; recruits and trains staff and volunteers; promotes events; manages facilities, equipment, budgets, grants, and records; and liaises with public and private groups. The role requires a four-year degree in recreation administration, physical education, or a related field plus relevant experience, a valid North Carolina driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to perform physically demanding work.
