Description
The Parks and Recreation Department Recreation Supervisor assists the Recreation Program Assistant Manager and Program Manager in supervising and operating youth, adult, teen, senior, family, and special-needs recreation programs and facilities. Responsibilities include planning and executing recreational activities and special events, managing budgets and staff schedules, recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff and volunteers, maintaining facilities and equipment, handling public relations and resident complaints, and providing clerical and registration support. The role requires five years of full-time public park and recreation supervision experience, including three years of lead supervisory experience, an associate degree or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, and First Aid and CPR certification within six months of hire.
