Description
The Therapeutic Recreation Program Manager will manage and implement an agency-wide therapeutic recreation program for Vanderheyden individuals and their families. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical, education, and residential activities; managing the recreation budget; documenting assessments, progress notes, attendance, and treatment plans; coordinating community activities and special events; and maintaining recreation equipment and areas. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field, a valid New York State driver’s license, training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and physical restraint, and availability for evenings and weekends. Compensation is $25-$28 per hour.
