Description
The Recreational Therapist - CTRS assesses patients’ physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs; develops and implements individualized therapeutic recreational activities; documents progress; and collaborates with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to support rehabilitation and community reintegration. The role requires a CTRS credential, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, state licensure or certification, and experience planning therapeutic recreational programs, with preferred qualifications including a master’s degree, diverse clinical experience, EHR proficiency, and community resource networking.
