Byron Wellness Community is hiring a Recreational Therapy Intern to assist Resident Engagement and Life Enrichment teams in planning and facilitating recreational and therapeutic activities, supporting resident participation, building relationships with residents and families, assisting with outings and events, learning documentation and assessment processes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. The internship is intended for students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and offers full-time and part-time availability, with every other weekend and rotating holidays required. Required qualifications include enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, multitasking, initiative, confidentiality, and English communication; experience with specialized resident populations is preferred. The listed salary is $12.00, and eligible team members may receive medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
