Description
The Recycling Site Operator performs manual labor dismantling freezers, refrigerators, washers and dryers, and processing electronics, tires, and commingled recyclables at a county recycling facility. The role also handles public receipts, records, traffic control, safety inspections, fencing, and operation of front-end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and other equipment. It requires high school or GED completion, forklift or skid steer experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Class B CDL within 12 months; the work is physically demanding and may include evening and weekend events.
