Description
The Referrals Coordinator 2 processes referrals and authorizations from Military Treatment Facilities and civilian providers, enters data into medical management systems, assigns providers, reviews benefits, applies ICD-10 and CPT codes, and coordinates with nurses, supervisors, MTFs, and civilian providers. The role works under clinical supervision, typically on routine assignments, and is remote with occasional travel. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, UM/Coding experience or medical terminology, U.S. citizenship, and interim government security clearance approval; Humana Government Business experience, public-contact experience, an associate or bachelor’s degree, and TRICARE knowledge are preferred. The position pays $39,000–$49,400 per year and includes medical, dental, and vision benefits.
