Calderys is seeking an experienced Refractory Design Engineer for its Budapest team. The individual contributor will independently design refractory brick linings for iron and steel vessels, perform quantity, heat transfer, and thermal expansion calculations, prepare technical and commercial offer documentation, manage projects from kickoff through delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and conduct occasional site visits across Hungary and abroad. The role requires at least five years of refractory engineering experience focused on iron and steel brick applications, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, OneDrive, professional English, and strong technical communication and project-management skills.
