HWI is hiring an on-site Refractory Technician in Reading, Pennsylvania, to work at customer sites and perform refractory lining, relining, repair, and installation for furnaces, ladles, and tundishes. The role involves interpreting drawings, using bricklaying and refractory equipment, operating jib cranes and forklifts, maintaining tools and inventory, documenting work, and following safety and quality standards. A high school diploma or GED, refractory-lined-unit knowledge, and the ability to safely operate required equipment are required; fundamental computer skills are needed, with Excel experience preferred.
