Description
HWI is hiring a customer-facing Refractory Technician for its Value Added Services Team. The role performs refractory lining, relining, repair, and installation work on furnaces, ladles, and tundishes; uses bricklaying equipment, jib cranes, forklifts, and hand and electrical tools; documents findings and inventory; and maintains safety and quality standards. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, refractory-lined-unit knowledge, and the ability to work physically demanding conditions, including lifting up to 75 pounds and exposure to fumes, particles, outdoor weather, and loud environments.
