UGL is hiring a Regional Engineer for NSW to support critical fuel infrastructure used by the Australian Army, Navy and Air Force. The role focuses on operational engineering rather than traditional design, including engineering investigations, root cause analysis, scope of work, technical solution review, risk assessment, and improvement initiatives. The engineer will work with Operations and Maintenance teams, Superintendents, and Defence stakeholders, develop business cases, and present improvement initiatives to the client. The Sydney-based role uses a hybrid model with site, office, and WFH work, requires travel to regional NSW locations as needed, and offers long-term contract progression. Candidates need a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical, or related engineering, relevant project, operations, or asset management experience, industry experience, Australian citizenship, and the ability to pass a police check.
