Wise is hiring a Regional Information Security Officer for the Europe region to represent the Security Squad and reduce information security and technology risk across European legal entities. The role partners with regional risk, compliance, and engineering teams; leads security responses for licenses, certifications, and audits; supports group security risk assessments and regional committee and board reporting; evaluates controls against regional requirements; and supports global certifications such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC1 & 2. Candidates need significant information security or technology risk management experience, knowledge of European financial services regulation, relevant certifications, and strong communication and collaboration skills. The role requires a fit-and-proper check with the National Bank of Belgium and may require travel to Brussels. The starting salary is €85,000–€108,000 plus RSUs.
