Description
The Regional Lead Project Manager: Central Administration will support construction and design projects for the Virginia Department of Corrections in the Central Region, including projects up to $5 million. Reporting to the Construction Project Administrator, the role leads projects through design, construction, and closeout; manages schedules, scope, budgets, quality, safety, environmental compliance, and administrative support; and serves as a subject-matter expert for complex construction issues. The position requires construction project management experience, VCCO certification, knowledge of Virginia construction and procurement regulations, and coordination with state and federal agencies. Additional considerations include DEB experience, the Construction and Professional Services Manual, public procurement, a professional engineering or architecture license, and knowledge of CADD or Revit.
