Description
The role inspects, services, maintains, and repairs diesel locomotives in accordance with federal and company regulations. Responsibilities include daily 24-hour locomotive inspections, air-brake testing, oil and filter changes, fueling, lubrication, electrical testing, component replacement, and diagnosis of diesel-engine and air-equipment malfunctions. The position requires FRA knowledge, hazardous-material handling, a valid driver’s license, physical ability to perform heavy locomotive work, and travel to support other roads in the region.
