Description
The Field Operations Manager coordinates daily transportation field operations, including staffing, scheduling, safety, vehicle maintenance, driver and supervisor supervision, training, corrective actions, accident reporting, and customer service. The role also performs road or yard driving when needed and supervises site supervisors, yard coordinators, road coordinators, and drivers. It requires a high school diploma or GED, one to two years of management experience or equivalent education and training, a valid driver’s license, computer skills, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
