Description
The Regional Manager of Patient Access Services oversees patient registration, demographics, financial and regulatory information, billing accuracy, claim denials, accounts receivable, bad debt, staffing, training, compliance, and coordination with physicians, ancillary departments, medical records, and information systems. The role supports outpatient, emergency, surgery, and direct-admit registrations; requires 5–7 years of job-related experience, including 3 years of Patient Access Leadership, an associate degree, and HFMA CRCR certification by the second year of the role.
