Description
The Regional School Nurse reports to the Health Services Manager and provides school health services for the Hockinson School District on a six-hour-per-week, school-year schedule. Duties include assessing student health needs, reviewing emergency care plans, coordinating mandated screenings, supervising medication administration and nursing treatments, providing emergency care, counseling, crisis intervention, health education, referrals, data collection, and collaboration with school staff, families, and health professionals. The role requires a valid Washington State RN license and current CPR/first aid certification; a nursing bachelor's degree, Washington ESA school nurse certificate, school nursing experience, and experience with school-age children and RN delegation are preferred.
