Description
The Registered Behavior Technician implements individualized Behavior Support Plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Responsibilities include teaching and reinforcing communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills; applying de-escalation techniques; recording and reporting client behavior and intervention data; collaborating with team members; maintaining confidentiality; and participating in ongoing training and supervision. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BACB registration as a Registered Behavior Technician, and prior experience in high-acuity environments with intense behaviors. Most duties are performed from a corporate office or in homes and day programs, with potential exposure to infectious disease and aggressive behaviors.
