Description
The Downey Unified School District is recruiting Registered Behavior Technicians for full-time 32.5-hour-per-week positions lasting 11 months and 184 workdays per year. The role supports students with autism spectrum disorders and severe behavioral challenges by implementing and training on individualized behavioral intervention plans, monitoring behavior and data, assisting with classroom instruction, supporting staff, maintaining records, and using crisis-prevention strategies when needed. Applicants must complete the Registered Behavior Technician training program, hold valid First Aid and CPR certificates, and may be required to relocate between sites.
