The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) supports dentists during various dental procedures, exams, and treatment discussions. Responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients, capturing X-rays, assisting with treatment procedures, setting up and sterilizing examination rooms, discussing treatment options, and providing teeth polishing and sealant placement. The RDA also helps with patient scheduling, maintains sterile instrument practices, creates positive patient environments, guides patients on post-care instructions, and assists with company-provided prizes.
