Description
The part-time Registered Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy, nutrition assessments, individualized meal plans, breastfeeding support, culturally responsive education, WIC food-benefit issuance, and referrals to women, infants, and young children in the WIC program. The role supports quality improvement, program reporting, staff training, and community outreach, with Level II responsibilities including overseeing quality improvement, certifying nutrition assistants, and leading nutrition education. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field, an accredited dietetic internship or coordinated program, current RDN credential and California licensure eligibility, and at least one year of clinical or community nutrition experience; Level II requires three years of progressively responsible RD experience, including at least one year in WIC or public health nutrition.
