Description
The employer is hiring a full-time Registered Environmental Health Specialist or Environmental Health Specialist-In-Training to conduct inspections across food safety, campgrounds, public swimming pools, body art, school buildings, sewage, private water, and solid waste; investigate animal bites, food-borne illness complaints, and public health nuisances; prepare inspection and investigation records; and provide education and training to regulated entities and the public. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental health, biology, or a related science field and be registered as an Environmental Health Specialist or Specialist-In-Training with the Ohio Department of Health.
