Description
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, implements and monitors care plans, coordinates interdisciplinary care, carries out physician and nursing orders, assesses patient needs, supports discharge planning, delegates care appropriately, and participates in rounds and professional development. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, an associate degree, a current Connecticut RN license, BLS certification, and strong assessment and critical-thinking skills; a BSN is preferred.
