Description
St. Tammany Health System is hiring a Respiratory Care Nurse for a 42-hour, 7pm–7am shift. The role provides care to a group of patients using therapeutic self-care, the nursing process, the environment and instrumentation, and the health care team, and supervises Respiratory Therapists, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Unit Assistants. The position requires successful completion of a Board Certified Nursing Program, an associate degree, current Louisiana RN licensure, BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications, and TNCC, NRP, and CPI certifications within specified timeframes. Emergency Department experience is preferred.
