Description
The Registered Nurse provides patient care during a designated time frame using therapeutic self-care, the nursing process, the environment and instrumentation, and the health care team. The role supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants, Monitor Technicians, Patient Care Attendants, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Technicians, and Unit Clerks. It requires successful completion of a Board Certified Nursing Program, current Louisiana RN licensure, BLS upon hire, NIHSS within six months, and excellent computer skills; Med/Surg experience is preferred. The shift is 7pm–7am, and the work involves prolonged standing, sitting, walking, lifting at least 50 pounds, and moderate noise.
