Description
The Registered Nurse- ASC OR provides professional nursing care for surgical and endoscopic patients in an ambulatory surgery center operating room. The role includes circulating and scrubbing duties, assisting with anesthesia induction and surgery, maintaining sterile technique, managing instruments, medications, specimens, counts, equipment, and patient transfers, while supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, CPR certification within 30 days, and ACLS certification within six months; three to five years of comparable nursing experience is preferred.
