The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in an outpatient clinic while coordinating patient care across clinic departments and external healthcare organizations. Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, triage, referrals, patient education, medication administration, clinical procedures, physician assistance, emergency code-team participation, staff orientation, insurance pre-certifications, procedure scheduling, confidentiality, infection-control compliance, and customer service.
