Description
Rising Ground is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse in Bronx, New York to provide care management for individuals with developmental disabilities under OPWDD regulations. The role supervises staff performing delegated nursing tasks, monitors medical care and documentation, supports training and AMAP staff, provides 24-hour telephone triage, and maintains HIPAA compliance. The position requires an RN, preferably a BSN, at least one year of work experience, a current New York State nursing license, BLS, OPWDD knowledge, and the ability to work autonomously and critically assess medical records and triage calls. It is scheduled for 35 hours per week, five days, with in-person work in New York City and possible travel to other Rising Ground sites.
