Description
The Registered Nurse-PRN provides nursing assessment, care planning, medication administration, medical record maintenance, health promotion, and training for individuals with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, substance abuse issues, and emotional or behavioral challenges. The role may coordinate home care, transport individuals, participate in on-call and multidisciplinary meetings, and travel as needed. It requires graduation from an accredited RN program, one year of experience with medically complex individuals, a current state RN license, a driver's license and auto insurance when providing transportation, and current CPR/First Aid certification.
