Description
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse role covers 3x12 shifts, midshifts, and 1p-130a shifts, with potential 3p-30a shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and holiday coverage as needed. The position requires float to the sister ED at MedCenter Greensboro and between all Cone Health campuses. Candidates must have at least two years of experience, and first-time travelers are accepted. Required qualifications include BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, combined adult/pediatric emergency department experience, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, phlebotomy, IV starting, triage, and EPIC; TNCC and Cerner are preferred. The role operates at a 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio.
