Description
The Registered Nurse supports the patient care team and nursing leadership by delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care; assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; educating patients and families; advocating for patients; and collaborating with departments and staff. The role also contributes to unit planning, quality improvement, delegation, and competency validation. Required qualifications include graduation from a Registered Nurse Program, a California Registered Nurse License, and relevant clinical experience or specialty certification depending on the unit; BLS and ACLS are required for most units. The position is based at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Los Angeles and pays $47.58 to $76.68 per hour.
