Description
The Riverside University Health System Medical Center is recruiting a per diem Registered Nurse III - MC/CHC for the MSC Recovery - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role provides independent peri-anesthetic care for complex surgical and procedural patients, including pre- and postoperative assessment, medication administration, monitoring, discharge planning, and coordination of care. The position requires a California RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TCAR, and PCAR certifications, and at least one year of critical care experience in an ICU or emergency department; PACU experience is desirable and bilingual Spanish skills are preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday with shifts typically starting between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and ending between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with critical-care differentials of $4.00 per hour after required training and certification.
