Description
The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for high-acuity patients on a 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit. Responsibilities include medication administration, hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, airway and respiratory support, emergency response, IV therapy, blood draws, EKGs, and patient and family education. The role is full-time on a 12-hour day shift, with every third weekend off and eligibility for shift and weekend differentials. Applicants must be eligible or currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania, hold CPR certification, and obtain ACLS certification within the specified timeframe; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, and previous specialty-area nursing experience is preferred.
