Description
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse works the night shift from 1900 to 0730, with call and float required and weekend coverage every other week. The role provides 1:1 care for labor patients, 1:2 care for cytotoc inductions, 1:1 care for magnesium patients, and 1:3 care for couplet mother-baby units, including nursery responsibilities and hearing screenings. Required certifications include ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP, and RN state licensure; two years of experience and one year of Epic experience are required. The unit also cares for GYN surgery patients, and RNs are cross-trained in labor and delivery, circulator, acute care nursery, and OB triage.
