Cone Health is hiring an Acute Care Rehabilitation Nurse for a 3x12s night schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with every third weekend and holidays as needed. The role requires float between all Cone Health campuses, a minimum of one year of experience, and no first-time travelers. Acute care rehabilitation experience is preferred, and the nurse will provide direct care to patients with conditions such as CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, generalized debility, stroke, aneurysm, and postoperative surgical needs. Duties include medication reconciliation, laboratory-result interpretation, vital-sign assessment, dressing changes, sterile-procedure tray setup, phlebotomy, specimen labeling, telephone triage, and pharmacy refill requests. The stated patient ratio is 1:6, with one unit allowing a nurse to care for seven patients of the same acuity on a rotating basis.
