Description
The Registered Nurse - Float Pool provides cross-training and patient-care support across Medical/Surgical, Tele/Observation, Intermediate Care Unit, and other Patient Services departments. The role follows the nursing process, manages medications and IV therapy, responds to emergencies, documents care, and may serve as a virtual nurse. It requires an accredited nursing education, Pennsylvania RN licensure, CPR certification, and ACLS certification, with a minimum 24-hour off-shift requirement on a six-week schedule and 12-hour day, evening, or night shifts.
