Description
The Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care in designated surgical-services areas, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation of medical plans, documentation, education, and coordination with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and other healthcare professionals. The role also manages supplies and equipment, may serve as a charge nurse for on-call or holiday coverage, and requires acute-care nursing proficiency, Florida or eligible-compact-state RN licensure, and BLS certification upon hire.
