Description
The Orthopedic Registered Nurse will provide preoperative and postoperative care for elective and trauma orthopedic patients, including total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and repairs. The role requires at least two years of experience, no first-time travelers, BLS, ACLS preferred, orthopedic and trauma experience, EPIC, and use of rapid response teams. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with one holiday and one evening during the holiday period, no call, and a possible nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7.
