Description
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Registered Nurse – PRN provides post-anesthesia care to infants through adults in a 14-bed unit. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; administering medications; managing airways, ventilators, IV therapy, pain, and emergency situations; documenting care; and supporting patient education and discharge. The schedule includes 10-hour day or evening shifts, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with call coverage, weekend and holiday work as needed, and a minimum of 24 hours off per six-week schedule. The position requires Pennsylvania RN licensure, CPR certification, and relevant PACU or critical-care experience and certifications.
