Description
The Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse provides safe, therapeutic care to children with complex congenital heart disease and other critically ill pediatric patients. The role uses the nursing process, works with interdisciplinary and nursing teams, performs complex nursing care with assistance and supervision, and assists with patient-care management. It requires at least two years of recent RN experience in a Pediatric Cardiac ICU, recent experience with pediatric congenital heart disease and heart-failure patients, California RN licensure, CPR and PALS certification, and flexibility to orient and work at UCSF Health locations; CCRN certification and a BSN are preferred.
